Center for Budget and Policy Priorities: For a national understanding of state budget politics and how federal legislative affects them regularly check out the latest facts and analysis of the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities. They in particular provide guidance on how to build revenue coalitions and how to talk about raising state revenue instead of cutting services. They hold an annual conference in Washington D.C. with many informative workshops and ample opportunity to question experts.
