UPTE-CWA Local 9119 HX Bargaining Committee opened negotiations with the University of California today.  UPTE CWA delivered our opening statement with your concerns on staffing levels, scheduling, excessive workloads, competitive compensation and maintaining quality levels of patient care.

UPTE-CWA presented proposals on:

• Article 3: Arbitration Procedure
• Article 6: Corrective Action, Discipline and Discharge
• Article 8:  Grievance Procedure

Your union will be working throughout the evening on drafting additional contract language proposals.
