UPTE UCLA Employees March from
the Research Labs to the Chancellor!

Dear UPTE RX-TX Employees,

Here is a report on the mobilizing event that we held at UCLA on March 18. We had well over 50 members turnout for the march.  We went from Gonda and MacDonald Research Lab buildings to Murphy Hall and the Chancellor's office. UPTE was met by UCLA's contract negotiator Maurita Ploesch. She was told to let UCOP know to we demand UC bargains fairly with UPTE's Researchers and Technical Employees!

We hope that the action sent the message to UC that UCLA is going to continue fighting as long and hard as our brothers and sisters in the other UC Unions who have received their raises and get UPTE’s employees the same, fair, equitable raises as well!
